Consultation to Refine Therapeutic Perception and Skills (Chicago)

Consultation is one of the best ways to refine therapeutic perception and skills after licensure. Just as there are different models of therapy, there are different models of consultation, and the consultation relationship has its own framework and dynamics. This workshop will provide an overview of the consultation process, and then engage in live consultation with as many cases as time permits. 

All courses offered through the NASW-Illinois Chapter meet the continuing education qualifications for LSWs, LCSWs, LPCs, LCPCs, LMFTs, RNs, LPNs, APNs, and LCPs licensed in Illinois as required by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).

Speaker: Jay Einhorn, PhD, LCPC, is therapist and diagnostic evaluator in independent practice, clinical supervisor at the Family Institute of Northwestern University, consulting psychologist at Roycemore School, current chair of Peer Study Groups, and former president of the Chicago Association for Psychoanalytic Psychology. He is a consultant in psychotherapy and psychological and neuropsychological evaluation.
