Monday, November 27, 2017 at 2:00pm
This event lasts 0 days 2 hours and 0 minutes.

The biopsychosocial model is a flexible, comprehensive, and easy-to-use approach to organizing the social worker's observations and clinical reasoning. This in turn facilitates goal-setting with clients and tracking progress. The model fits with a large array of theoretical approaches, practice settings, and clients.

All courses offered through the NASW-Illinois Chapter meet the continuing education qualifications for LSWs, LCSWs, LPCs, LCPCs, LMFTs, RNs, LPNs, APNs, LCPs, and PELs (formerly Type 73) licensed in Illinois as required by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).

Speaker: Ken Bolyard, MSW, LCSW, MPH, has over 30 years of social work practice in community mental health, psychiatric emergency, hospital, employee assistance, case management, home health and hospice settings. He has used the biopsychosocial model in all of them.
