July 2017 - Calumet District Update

Christine Escobar-Sawicki, LSCW

Hello Calumet District Members,

My name is Christine Escobar-Sawicki and I have been elected as the new Calumet District Chairperson for the NASW-Illinois Chapter during 2017–2018.  I realize I have big shoes to fill as our former district chairperson, Monica Guihot-Chartrand, has worked very hard these past few years to plan wonderful CEU and networking events for our large area.  I am grateful to Monica for her guidance, support, and laughs as she has guided me into my new role!

Input Wanted...

The Calumet District is a large area covering several counties.  It is my hope to provide you with CEU and networking events that meet your needs in area's throughout the district.  To do so, I am asking for assistance.  Perhaps you have an idea about an event, topic or can recommend a speaker.  Maybe you have a topic you would be interested in presenting or know of a great location to hold events.  I am open to any and all idea's and have put together a brief survey to solicit feedback and ideas.  Would you take a few monutes to complete this? : https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/75BRVB6

You can also feel free to e-mail me directly with your thoughts.
