Well, I don't know about your gardens, but mine sure thinks it's spring! With the warm, sunny days, it's shaping up to be grat weather for getting out and being active! And since March is Social Work Month, and the theme is, Social Workers Stand UP! It's great that we have some opportunities to do just that!
First, our 2017 Advocacy Day is scheduled for Tuesday, April 4. This is an excellent opportunity to join forces with other Social Workers and make your feelings and presence known! For registration and information, click here: http://www.naswil.org/news/chapter-news/featured/sign-up-for-advocacy-day-2016-1/. If you decide to go, let me know and we can connect there!
We have a CEU event on March 10, and it's not too late to register! Join us for, Financial Literacy For Social Workers, with Sherry Williamson. This has gotten great reviews when presented in other districts, and I'm so pleased she is able to present for us!
