Culturally Responsive Leadership Practices

Date: Friday, March 26, 2021, from 10:00AM to 12:00 PM CST

Presenters: Giesela Grumbach, PhD, LCSW, PEL & Linda Campos-Moreira, PhD, MSW, MESA

Description: This co-hosted Calumet District workshop focuses on the Culturally Responsive Leadership Framework (CRLF) for social work. In this workshop, we will review the CRLF as well as strategies and tools for using CRLF in social work practice and policy making.

Affirming Practice with LGBTQ Youth and Families

Date: Tuesday, April 6, 2021, from 1:00-4:00PM CST

Presenter: Carolyn Wahlskog, LCSW

Description: This co-hosted Calumet training provides social workers an opportunity to learn more about the needs of LGBTQ+ young people and their families. The training will cover the basics around terminology, current trends, and suggestions for making your practice more affirming for LGBTQ+ clients.
