The NASW-Illinois Chapter has been working with stakeholders and members of the Illinois General Assembly to address the significant delays in processing social work licenses by the licensing agency in our state of Illinois. These delays have had a detrimental impact on both social workers seeking licensure and the overall welfare of our state's residents.
